I’m Maria Angelica Petit—but everyone calls me Mari. I’m a 20-year-old Creative Advertising and Psychology student at UM, born and raised in Miami with proud Venezuelan roots. As an only child, I’ve always been observant and people-centered, drawn to the stories and emotions that shape us.

A boating accident three years ago changed my life and truly strengthened my faith, resilience, and trust in God’s plan for me. My love for art has always been with me, but design began when I made a fan account for Bethany Mota in fifth grade (I know—forever a fangirl). Now, I’m excited to keep creating from the heart—because there’s nothing better than working on what you love.
